Honestly, most tree services are glorified lumberjacks - they get paid to cut trees down/or clear them away. Tamke is different: under Sam Burd's care, he only trims what is needed to keep our trees healthy and vigorous growing. And his crews take great pains to minimize any disturbance of the surrounding plants or gardens. Since we first hired Sam in 2020, we've felt confident our trees (many of them 80'+ tall) are being watched over by a professional arborist. Couldn't;t recommend him more highly.

I normally don't write reviews but the service I had was just beyond any expectation. I had a tree fall in my yard and into my neighbors just before the big snow storm this year (a foot of snow) and my neighbors were extremely concerned about the tree in the storm. Even though they were booked solid Chris managed to come out with a hand saw (he was in the area) and managed to cut down enough of the tree to make my neighbor (and me) worry free during the snow. Even more amazing was that shortly after the storm, with a foot of snow on the ground, they still managed to assemble a crew to finish the job. Really more than I could have asked for! Great job.

The entire Tamke experience was 5 star. It started with Chris examining the property, and giving his opinion. Continued with the crew showing up as scheduled, and ended with a superb, professional job, that was well done.

First visit was great. Then concurring visits while I wasn't there and they charged several hundreds of dollars without approval. Careful with them

Lenny and the team took care of a serious safety issue of a dead tree on our property with the utmost professionalism. The removal was efficient and honestly, the team left my driveway cleaner than when they arrived!

They were over and beyond even my 'gold/platinum standard expectations--detailed, thorough, aesthetic, respectful of property and truly so nice, cheerful and thoughtful individuals. I so enjoyed working through the long list of work they had to do on my property. They actually made my day because of their attitudes, professionalism, thoroughness... and even clean-up diligence. 3rd time, every other year since 2021 saving Northern Ash trees on my property via injection. Great Service & a Great Company! Excellent results!

Tamke Tree Experts were quick, clean and affordable. I needed a tree removed, some stumps shaved down and some shrubbery prettied up and they did everything exceptionally well.I also had a finicky schedule and they worked around that too.I recommend them and will use them again!
